Hostos Community College

The second Spring Staff Intramural Competition was held on Wednesday, April 11th.  This tournament in a similar fashion to the Staff Basketball Tournament was a hard fought competition with bodies on the floor doing digs and in the air doing spikes and kill shots.  Also, similar to basketball, four teams were involved.  This time the four were; President's office, Continuing Ed, IT and Athletics.    

Bronx, NY -- On Tuesday, April 24, the Hostos Caiman family came together to celebrate the achievements of student-athletes, coaches, and administrators throughout the year. It has been a year of many firsts for Hostos Athletics as Athletic Director, Carol Kashow, noted in her opening remarks. Hostos witnessed the first time the Men's Soccer team has played in the CUNY Championship game and entered the Regional Tournament, the first time Men's Basketball has lead all teams in academic achievement.....All this and more have been part of the Pathway to the Future. 

The second installment of the City University of New York Athletic Conference Division III Week Profiles is in tow. Representing the CUNYAC perspective today is college athletics veteran Carol Kashow, Athletics Director at Hostos Community College.
