This season, both Men's and Women's Basketball teams improved and made great strides towards building Hostos into a better program for years to come. On Sunday night, athletic repesentatives from all teams in Region XV met at Westchester Community College in Valhalla, New York to decide the outcome for All-Region XV Teams.

In addition to being All-Region XV 1st Team, both sophomore Charles Jackson and freshman Kristina Shcherban are also NJCAA All-American candidates and have the chance to make national honors thanks to their hard work on the court. Jackson was in the Top 10 in the nation in scoring and made around 50% from the field. Also a great shooter, Shcherban was in the Top 15 in the nation in Free Throw shooting percentage and shot just as well from the floor.
