Squeaking sneakers, pumping hearts and intense action filled the gymnasium on Wednesday, May 2nd, 2012. The 3rd Annual Staff Intramural basketball tournament began at 6:00pm with a Round Robin series involving four teams. Teams representing four areas of the college; Athletics, IT, Continuing Education and Russ 'n' Crew (as talented combination from Student Life) battled for the top two positions and an opportunity to claim Champion status. Rising to the occasion on the night were the Athletics and the Continuing Education teams. Both teams fought through injuries and exhaustion in the final match-up and the Athletics team managed to defeat the Continuing Education by a narrow margin of three points. Congrats to all. We look forward to seeing you all return next year.
